Positive Review 1

This coffee has such a mild taste too. I don’t mean mild in the sense of absence of robustness rather mild than it doesn’t have that typical oily acidic taste that comes with coffee. When I was a young fella I used to drink my coffee black and then I got a little older and I added cream and then of course my coffee turned into a candy bar with all the sweet stuff that’s out there. I’m not a guy that necessarily goes for caffeine because I don’t like the shakes in any regard and have been off caffeine for near three decades now though I still like to have the taste of coffee. I’m not a caffeine purist; I’m a taste of coffee purist.

Positive Review 2

Houston changes in the way I consume food lately I have moved more towards green teas and a more helpful way of life in general. That being said, we went to a restaurant that served this coffee with our kids and we went ahead and ordered it as a decaf product and noticed the level of smoothness. My bride still drinks decaf so I ordered it for her because she had commented on it so readily. We got it home and she really liked it and I was thinking to myself maybe I’ll try it black because I just don’t want to take the extra stuff inside my coffee. Well, I tried it black and I surely did like it and all that oil and acidity was gone and now I just get to enjoy the smoothness of the coffee.

Positive Review 3

This blend produces a nice crema that’s nutty and bold. I have seen several videos about this product showing terrible extraction methods, and no wonder they didn’t like it. Like any espresso blend, you have to dial in the extraction in order to get a good shot. Many of the extractions in the videos posted here are either far over-extracted or far under-extracted. On the other hand, not everyone is going to like every blend, but I personally find this one very nice for at-home espresso milk drinks.

Positive Review 4

Overall the flavor is pretty baseline. I’m typically a bold, dark roast drinker. However, I heard good things about this coffee, especially for espressos. I’ll say it does have a good, balanced, medium roast flavor for espresso, but I’ve mainly been using it in a drip pot for daily use. I did find the roast date to be a couple of months past when I received it, so it’s not as fresh as I’d hoped. But given what the other reviews said and coming from Amazon, I figured as much. I don’t think I’ll reorder it again just because it doesn’t have enough “bite” for everyday use for me. If I’m going to have 2 lbs of coffee to use, I can’t hold on to it just for espressos. Otherwise, it’ll take me 6 mos+ to use it all, then it will be really stale even in an airtight container.

These positive reviews highlight the mild and smooth taste of the Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee Blend. Reviewers have praised its lack of acidity and oily taste, making it a favorite for those who prefer a more mellow coffee experience. Some have even switched to drinking it black, appreciating the absence of any additional ingredients. The blend’s ability to produce a nutty and bold crema in espresso-based drinks has also been recognized. However, it is acknowledged that personal preferences may differ, and not every blend will suit every individual’s taste. Despite that, the coffee’s quality and flavor have been commended, making it a worthwhile investment for coffee enthusiasts. Whether used in an espresso machine or a drip pot, the Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee Blend offers a balanced and enjoyable medium roast flavor. The only drawback mentioned by one reviewer was the freshness, as the beans were not as fresh as expected upon arrival. Despite this, the overall positive experiences shared by reviewers make this blend highly recommended for those seeking a high-quality and satisfying coffee.

Pros and Cons

Pros

I have been using the Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee Blend for a while now, and there are several aspects of this coffee that I really enjoy. First and foremost, the flavor is fantastic. It has a balanced and medium roast flavor that is perfect for espresso. Even though I mainly use it in a drip pot, the coffee still has a good, smooth flavor. The aroma of hazelnut and brown sugar adds a delightful depth to every cup, making it a truly enjoyable experience.

Another pro is the value pack. With six bags of 2.2 pounds each, this coffee will last me a long time. The price is reasonable for the quantity and quality that you’re getting. It’s definitely a great value for the money.

Additionally, I appreciate the blend of 60% Arabica and 40% Robusta. It creates a perfect balance between smoothness and richness. The beans are evenly roasted and of high quality.

Cons

One drawback that I have noticed is that the roast date on the package was a couple of months prior to when I received it. This means that the coffee isn’t as fresh as I had hoped. However, considering it was purchased from Amazon and given the other reviews, I expected this to be the case.

Another con for me is that the flavor might be too mild for some people, especially those who prefer a stronger or bolder taste in their daily coffee. It lacks that strong “bite” that I look for in my everyday cup.

while there are a few downsides, the pros of the Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee Blend outweigh the cons. The flavor, aroma, and value make it a great choice for those who appreciate a mild and creamy medium espresso roast. I would recommend trying it out for yourself and see if it becomes a favorite in your coffee routine.
